Gutter and Down Spout Cleaning
Maintaining a sound roof literally tops the list of crucial home repairs: It keeps you and your family warm and dry, along with everything in your house.
Call Roof Doctor, Inc. for your gutter and downspout cleaning! Gutters frequently fill with leaves & other materials, especially in the autumn. It is important to effectively clean the gutters, not only for the integrity of your roof, but to maintain adequate water drainage. Maintaining clean gutters helps keep your home in good shape & lessen possibilities of future repairs.
DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR HOME!
When your gutters are clogged such as in this picture, the water flows over the front of the gutter when it hits the clog and pours onto a single point on the ground during rains.
Gutters also overflow from an improper or negative slope, or because of sagging.
The picture below shows extreme damage that can be caused over time if your gutters remain clogged and water is forced into the interior of the home. Do not let this go un-addressed!
Gutters clogged with leaves and debris allow rainwater to flow unimpeded. If rainwater is not able to flow freely, it could pool, possibly causing damage to your gutters and even the roof itself, leaving you with a costly repair to eaves, siding, and your roof.
Water can also back-flow into your home's interior and can cause major damage.
Numerous problems caused by overflowing gutters and downspouts include flooding basements, soil erosion, and rotting wood and water stains on siding.
Roof Doctor, Inc. will inspect and properly diagnose your gutters. We specialize in repairs, and will offer you a solution suiting your issue.
We recommend a service professional inspect your gutter system twice a year for possible damage or clogs. The moment you notice an overflowing section, avoid the common problems a faulty gutter system can cause, and call us for service.
If your gutters are sagging in most cases what we do is install 6" x 1/4" threaded lag bolts in ferrells with washers at the key locations in place of the spike and ferrells that continues to come loose and fall out. The threaded lag bolt pulls the gutter up nice and snug against the fascia board of your home. This is an excellent method of repair!
